Continuous Assessment and Exam Date

Continuous Assessment and Exam Date….In reference to the new year release of Thursday, January 2nd , 2020 from the Director’s Desk, it was explicitly stated that the UIDLC Management had scheduled the 2018/2019 second semester Continuous Assessment tests to commence on Monday, 13 January, 2020 to Friday, 18 January, 2020. This decision was reiterated at the town hall meetings held in Ibadan and Lagos on Wednesday, 8 and Thursday, 9 January, 2020 respectively.

As a result of this, the Centre has been receiving series of complaints and reactions from learners. The UIDLC Management has duly considered these reactions and in a bid to ensure a seamless exercise, the decision has been reviewed.

In this vein, be informed that the 2018/2019 second semester CA tests would no longer hold on the set dates.

The initial simultaneous deployment of CBT CA tests with examinations would be adopted while essay-based CA tests would be deployed ahead of the examinations.

Note that this measure is deemed peculiar to this semester. The Centre may revert to the earlier decision in the 2019/2020 session.

Furthermore, note that Continuous Assessment Tests for GES courses done in the first semester and those scheduled for the second semester would still hold from Monday, 13 January to Friday, 17 January, 2020 in Ibadan and Lagos centres. The timetable would be communicated to you hereafter.

A draft Examination Timetable would also be deployed in the next twelve hours for your information and consideration.
