1. First, you fill out the signup form which takes less than two minutes to complete.

2. Konga would verify your details so make sure you provide an accurate Email address, phone number and bank details to ensure you get paid.

3. Konga then assigns a dedicated support officer to your store.

4. Konga creates a SellerHQ account for you.

5. Konga notifies you when you have new orders to process through SMS, SellerHQ and Email.

6. K-Express or your preferred courier delivers your goods and Konga pays you.

3. Step three: Seller Dashboard

To Sell Product On Konga.com after you have successfully registered and verified your details , you would receive access to the market management portal called SellerHQ.

Basically, SellerHQ is your control panel (Seller Dashboard) where you upload your products, manage your inventory, monitor your sales and control your finances.

4. Step four: Upload  Product

The next step is to sign into the SellerHQ to upload your product. Simply add pictures, write a brief description about your product, specify the quantity and price.

After uploading your product on SellerHQ, Konga representatives would verify, review and approve your product before it goes live on Konga.

5. Handling Order

Handling your first order properly is very important. When a buyer buys your product on Konga.com, Konga confirms the details of the buyer and sends them to your dashboard and your have just 24hrs to either accept or decline the order fulfillment.

After accepting the order, click on orders on your dashboard to print the order summary and invoice, package the order nice and neatly, and ship.

6. Method Of Shipping 

The way shipping on Konga works is by Self-fulfillment, KOS express, Courier-Plus, QUO, EMS, and DHL logistics. These companies offer shipping services at a special rate for Konga nationwide.

However, for Self-fulfillment, you can offer free shipping for areas within your vicinity which increases sales by 30% and delivers at doorsteps.

For KOS express, you are to take your order to a drop-off location and the customer pays the costs for shipping.

It is important to note that you are expected to ship orders not less than 3 days after they are placed. You can also check delivery settings in your dashboard for the KOS express fees.

6. Payments Method

Once delivery of an item is successful, it is highlighted as ‘delivery confirmed’.

However, if  you have a return policy (usually 7-14 days, depending on your dashboard settings), the money is placed in escrow until it elapses. You get paid into your KongaPay registered account after Konga collects commission after 1-3 business days.

What Are the Konga Seller Fees?

1. Membership fees

After signing up, you will be required to pay the monthly membership fees required for access to the platform. Basically, there are two plans; A silver plan and A gold plan.

A silver plan costs 1000 Naira monthly and allows you to list up to 10 items each month. A gold plan which costs 2500 Naira allows you to list an unlimited number of items monthly.

2. Commission Rates

There are commission rates. Aside from the membership plan, Konga also charges you on a commission percentage on any items you sell.

However, these fees vary depending on how many items you sell per month.

The percentage of commission also depends on the category of your products sold and class of seller you belong to.

3. Shipping Fees

After the introduction of Self-fulfill in April 2015, Konga now charges sellers shipping fees for all order shipped via K-Express.

However, the seller has the capacity to review his/her shipping rates and locations on the SellerHQ.

Types Of Seller On Konga.com

There are two main classes of sellers; namely:

1. Classic seller. 

The classic sellers run small stores with sales less than 1 million Naira. The commission rating of a classic seller is between 3-10%.

2. Premium seller

The premium sellers usually run large stores and make sales of about 1 million Naira per month with a minimum quality rating of 90%, commission rate for premium sellers ranges between 2-7%.
