GES 104 Science, Industry And Mankind is also the same as GST 203: History and Philosophy of Science. History and Philosophy of Science is an effort to explain the nature of scientific enquiry and assess how reasonable or justified science is or should be from various philosophical viewpoints. The course examines the history of various branches of natural sciences, their contributions to human development, problems being encountered as a result of scientific progress and the way out.
