It is noteworthy to further inform prospective candidates who are interested in Nursing and other programme in University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre that the academic activities are facilitated by the same lecturers as the regular mode of study.
The issuance of the same certificates as obtainable in the conventional university system is also assured. This is technically referred to as PARITY OF ESTEEM- both categories of students have equal rights and privileges.

UI DLC Nursing Requirements
- DIRECT ENTRY (4-YEAR MODE)
Candidates must have completed the three-year General Nursing programme in an accredited School of Nursing, and be registered with and currently licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to practice.
- O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR DIRECT ENTRY MODE
Candidates must have the Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent with credit in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics (Physics may be waived for candidates who obtained NRN certificate before 1990)
- SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
- Five credits in one sitting and six credits in two sittings provided the two results are from the same examination body (One sitting will be an advantage). Admission process will start with a screening exercise and this will be followed by an interactive session for all shortlisted candidates
- BNSc Nursing has no O’Level Entry Mode (5 Years)

Here’s step by step on how to apply for UI DLC Nursing Admission and Requirements for application.
Step 1: VISIT http://dlcadmissions.ui.edu.ng/ to start the application process. Create login details with a valid email address and telephone number to obtain your Password.
Step 2: Log in with your username as your email address and password as sent to the email address supplied in step 1.
Step 3:
- · Click to fill Form. Make sure you fill in all information requested.
- · Click the button to save the form if you have filled in the information.
- · Upload your Passport Photograph according to the specified size, and JPG or PNG format.
