UNIUYO Admission Screening Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) must satisfy the institution’s Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening requirements before they can be considered for admission.
- Choose UNIUYO as First Choice Institution
Applicants must have selected the University of Uyo as their first-choice institution during JAMB registration. Candidates who initially chose another institution should apply for a change of institution through JAMB before the screening deadline.
- Meet the Required JAMB Cut-Off Mark
Candidates must score at least the minimum cut-off mark approved by the university for the admission year. Some competitive courses may require higher scores.
- Possess the Required O’Level Results
Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Upload O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS
Candidates are required to upload their WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Failure to do so may affect admission consideration.

- Candidates who upload wrong or incomplete bio-data will automatically be disqualified
- No candidate is required to upload any photograph or biometric capture, as pictures and biometric of candidates have been supplied by JAMB.
- Candidates who do not register for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will not be considered for admission. However Foreign Candidates, Inmates of Correctional Centers (Prisons), as well as Blind and Deaf candidates are exempted from the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
