Nationality, Height and Physical Fitness:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • Male: Minimum of 1.65m height

  • Must be physically and mentally fit.
  • Must not have any deformity, tattoos, or visible disability.

Educational Qualifications:

  • SSCE / NECO: 5 credits including English & Mathematics
  • NCE / OND: National Certificate in Education or Ordinary National Diploma
  • HND / BSc: Relevant degree from a recognized institution
  • NYSC: BSc/HND applicants must have completed NYSC or hold exemption letter

Age Requirement:

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 30 years
  • Note: Officers applying for specialist positions (medical, legal, engineering) may be allowed up to 35 years.
