List of prayers for new week and their benefits are copious as people come up with different prayer requests for different daily challenges with which they are met. It is often said in a time when the world seems against one. The benefit of this is that it heals fast and makes God attend to one faster than expected.

6. Prayers for Blessings

Prayers of blessing are acceptably good and beneficial to anyone who is in need of financial breakthrough and abundance in their lives. You can pray for blessings over newlyweds, newborns, or even over a new house or car. Prayers of blessings are found throughout Scripture and are powerful ways to ask for God’s best to be poured out. The book of Philippians 1:9-11 is a very good content.

7. Petition Prayers

Petition in the bible means a request made for something desired, especially a respectful or humble request, as to a superior or to one of those in authority; a supplication or prayer: a petition for aid; a petition to God for courage and strength. By prayers of petition, Christians seek forgiveness and turn back to God. Intercessions are prayers of petition in which Christians intercede for the needs of others (e.g. the community, the church, the world, leaders) as well as for themselves. Intercessions may take the form of a litany.

8. Praise

In praise, you do not get to ask for anything. All you do is just sing and call the name of God for exaltation for all the good deeds of His righteousness in your life. It is not surprising that it was through the shouting of halleluiah alone that the Israelites were able to win wars and even bring down the walls of Jericho. Praise helps you show to the enemies that you are not depresses nor frustrated and that you still claim your place as a victor or a winner.

9. Prayers of Faith

By prayer of faith, we mean a constant declaration of your faith in God. A prayer that believes in what is not as though it is. A prayer where one moves mountains to prove the level of one’s confidence in God. The like of Elijah on Mount Horeb. 1 Kings 19

10. Speaking in Tongue

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:27-28 that for anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God. It help you say things as you need them and not as you want them. It also helps you conquer wars which you know nothing about.

11. Prayers of Vow

This means that deliverance prayers is capable of delivering you from any challenges you may be facing as a believer in the faith. In the Bible, many followers of God cried out for His intervention in this type of prayer for help and deliverance.

13. Prayers of Reflection

As a prayer which concentrates more on reflection, it means it wants to help one understand one’s place with God and then help one learn to forge ahead into improving spiritually. The psalmist says that “On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night” Psalm 63:6.
