Crescent University Courses and Admission Requirements

General Admission Requirements

  • Credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO or approved equivalent in at least 5 subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics and any other three subjects as may be specified by each Department.
  • The 5 credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings and must have been obtained within the last 5 years.
  • Candidates awaiting results may apply.

College of Information and Communication Technology (CICOT)

1.Department of Computer Science

A credit in O/L Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is required. Further Mathematics is Optional.For combined Honours Degrees, a credit in the Second discipline is required.

A Credit in O/L Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is required. Further Mathematics is optional.

Students who have passed the Pre-degree examinations and also satisfy the general requirements for admission to all the departments in the College are also eligible for admission.

College of Natural and Applied Sciences(CONAS)

These are the specific Admission Requirements:

1.Department of Biological Sciences

(O/L) or NECO or equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects, which must include; English Language, Biology, or Agricultural Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics at not more than two (2) sittings

GCE “O” level of WASSCE or NECO or equivalent at not more than two sittings that include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Agricultural Science.
