The Category of UI DLC Interactive Session Students should know …..University of Ibadan distance learning center can be placed in two different categories. Let consider them below;
Interactive Session is provided for the purpose of REVISION. Interactive sessions are also designed to expose students to University culture and traditions, create opportunities for them to have face to face contact with resource persons, utilize library facilities and have an extended period to interact and network with colleagues as well as study intensively. During this period, resource persons will provide tutorial support and opportunities for students.
Interactive Sessions
Interactive sessions shall be conducted after registration. Interactive session shall be conducted in each semester for courses allotted for each semester. Before this period students are expected to have secured course materials for their registered courses for self-study. Before the Interactive session for each semester, students are expected to have sufficiently gone through all their course materials and other learning resources at their disposal.
Online/Continuous Interaction/Facilitation
Real time online interaction with registered DLC students by e-facilitators and academic advisors is a continuous activity through the student dedicated email account and the Learning Management System (LMS).
DLC e-facilitators and academic advisors engaged the use of technology to interact with students in a real time. Each online lecture delivered real time is recorded and the URL for the site is sent to students offering such course through the students’ dedicated email address.
